The Impact Network pathways act as a connector and facilitator between authors and nonprofit organizations

We help coordinate partnerships, including: 

  • Donation campaigns tied to book launches or events 

  • Awareness campaigns highlighting real-world issues reflected in books 

  • Virtual events or livestream conversations with nonprofit partners 

  • Charity giveaways, merch collaborations, and signed book fundraisers 

  • Reader and book club discussions connecting fiction with real-world themes 

  • Convention panels or special events

Fandoms are uniquely powerful communities

Readers are deeply connected to the themes explored in these stories – justice, survival, protecting the natural world, and challenging oppressive systems. These conversations already happen daily across BookTok, Bookstagram, and fan communities. 

By connecting authors with relevant nonprofits, the Romantasy Impact Network creates opportunities for readers to channel their passion into meaningful action. 

For authors, these partnerships can: 

  • deepen reader engagement 

  • highlight the real-world themes explored in their work 

  • strengthen connections with their community 

  • create positive social impact through their platforms 

  • enable broader discovery across social media 

What to expect:

Participation is flexible and tailored to each author’s preferences. Authors may opt in to individual campaigns as they arise, or the network can develop specific partnerships for authors to consider.

The Network handles the organizing and coordination side of these partnerships: 

  • Identifying nonprofit organizations / vetting author-identified organizations 

  • Initial campaign shaping and communications 

  • Facilitating introductions 

  • Managing campaign logistics 

  • Optional: drafting messaging and content related to the campaign, ensuring everything fits within existing communications and schedules 

All work related to this initiative is conducted on a pro bono basis.
